In AKIC’s opinion, Tony Kaulins is one great guy. But there are other great Tonys in the world and TKIC would be loathe not to mention them.
So here is the first installment of TKIC’s other great Tonys series.
Tony “O” was a great goalkeeper from the 1970s who spent most of his career with the Chicago Black Hawks. His style and look were distinctive. I can remember growing up and imitating his floppy legged style when playing street hockey with my brother. He was the first great Tony to come to mind when I named my son. Tony Esposito played in the 72 Summit Series against the Russians. He recorded a mind-boggling 15 shutouts in the 1971-72 season.
